driveway to driveway

for those of you who don't know, my wife and i found a new house, and, after several days of financial planning and fingernail biting, made a bid on it. that bid, however, was shot down tonite, crushed like a small dove, and now i'm left trying to figure out how i got so attached to something i'd only ever seen 3 times. my wife told me not to get down, and i don't think she meant not to dance, so i'm going to try to cheer myself up right in front of your eyes, through the power of writing, on iwannabeyourblog.


i got a West Bend 82306X Stir Crazy 6-Quart Popcorn Popper for valentine's day. it makes me happy, but not happy enough to forget the house. it also only adds to my jiggles.

julian's pass in the lane against oklahoma state was pretty great, but it wasn't a "no look" pass and ku played like dog crap for 35 minutes.

i got a credit card bill this week showing that i spent $295.47 on some strange 1-800 number. i called the company right up, found out that it was from king size direct, told the guy on the phone that i was neither big nor tall and would never buy anything over the phone, and, through some miracle of modern day customer service, was promptly informed that the charge would be removed. it only took 3 minutes, but that's 3 minutes i'll never have back.

rumor has it that chinese democracy will be out in march. slash has heard it and says it rocks. ok, i'll admit that i'm smiling a bit now.

quin snyder, the head coach of my school's arch rival, was forced out. did he resign? or was he fired? and did the play-by-play guy fire him? i'm starting to get cheered up.

maria sharapova made her sports illustrated swimsuit edition debut this week. things are looking a lot better.
